Hey! I'm Emma.
Hi! My name is Emma Williams. I am currently a senior at Auburn University, majoring in Journalism and minoring in Political Science and Italian Studies. After graduation, I plan to attend law school and pursue a career as an attorney. However, I have always had a passion for writing. I am also passionate about Auburn and aim to strengthen the Auburn family by connecting everyone who has an interest in the plains. This blog is where my love of writing and Auburn intersect.

Everyone has a story, and everyone's story deserves to be heard.
I am unsure of which city my life will lead me to, but I plan to dig deep and discover stories wherever I end up. However, I believe the Auburn community is a rare find. The love this community has for each other is evident in the stories shared on this blog. No matter where I end up, I will always consider myself a proud member of the Auburn family.
Writing is my passion, and I love writing about what's happening around the community. But I also write about other things I love.

I love to travel. In the summer of 2023, I spent 5 weeks in Rome, Italy studying abroad. The trip changed my life in many ways. I am minoring in Italian, so I was able to expand my speaking abilities. I plan to return to Italy and also visit other places in Europe. My next goal is Germany.

I love being active. Last February I ran my first half marathon in Seaside, Florida with two of my best friends. I have developed a new found love for skiing although I have lots of improving to do.

I love animals, specifically my 5th roommate Sugar. Sugar is a pit bull mix who keeps our house in check! We love walks and hikes at the Chewacala state park.
